The business was first structured to provide the very finest feline and canine foods. Jim called upon some of the best talent in the industry, utilized the finest quality ingredients and carefully formulated the finest products available that sincerely contribute to the health and quality lifestyle of our family companions and can be honestly represented, with pride, to the marketplace. This goal was realized. The product was manufactured and delivered to the Riverside warehouse on Columbus Day, October 12, 1993.

The second goal was to utilize the dynamic changes and tangible forces taking place in the marketplace and the way people purchase products. The major shift evolved from people shopping from home to make things easier, to relieve time stress and unwanted elements in their lives. A program was designed to keep things simple and provide services and products that reduce complexity for the consumer.
